On weekdays during the school year, tours typically leave at 10:00 am, 11:15 am, 2:00 pm, and 3:00 pm. These student-led tours will last approximately one hour, and afterward students are encouraged to meet with an Admissions Counselor to answer questions and go into greater depth than is discussed on tour. These meetings are separate from interviews and are solely informational.
Admitted Students Day is the perfect opportunity for students and families to explore Wagner College and learn more about the first year experience, the Wagner Plan for the Practical Liberal Arts. The day will consist of information sessions providing student panels, a campus tour with a current student, a club fair and is followed by a catered reception with faculty and staff.
This event typically hosts about 250 admitted students making it a great opportunity to mingle with future classmates and in some instances find a roommate.
Wagner Experience Days offer admitted students an opportunity to preview our campus community by observing a class, meeting faculty and having lunch with future classmates! Don’t miss this chance to get a hands on experience that can help jump start your college decision. Parents are also invited to attend a one-on-one meeting with a Financial Aid counselor, get a tour of campus and have lunch with the Office of Admission while their student is learning what it is like to be a Wagner Seahawk.
Overview Sessions are offered through the Admissions Office on select Saturdays throughout the academic year. These days consist of an information session by an Admissions Counselor and a campus tour with a current student. The event begins at 11:00 am and goes until about 1:00 pm. To get the true “Wagner experience” students are encouraged to stay on campus for any of the day’s campus events: athletic competitions, arts performance, other campus events, or go experience the city.
After students apply, they are encouraged to schedule an interview with their Admissions Counselor. Interviews are both informational and evaluative, and can be conducted either on campus, over the phone, or via Skype. Typically, a student will interview to add qualitative and anecdotal information to otherwise objective criteria. Contact your Admissions Counselor to schedule an interview.
Our Summer Campus Visit Day is the most extensive visit option offered at Wagner during the summer. Students will have the opportunity to speak with faculty, staff and current students. The day includes a welcome breakfast, information session, campus tour and faculty reception. The day begins at 9:00 am and ends around 1:00 pm.
Join the Admissions Office this summer for an information session followed by a student led campus tour. Lunch will be served afterward in Wagner’s cafe, The Hawk’s Nest. Students will have the opportunity to have a more intimate discussion with their Admissions Counselor and College Administrators.
Junior Overview Days are offered through the Admissions Office on select weekdays throughout the spring semesters. These days consist of an information session by an Admissions Counselor and a campus tour with a current student. The event begins at 11:00 am and goes until about 1:00 pm.
